Why glimmers? Great question. Because life isn’t always about fireworks and confetti cannons (though those are fun). Sometimes it’s about the tiny sparkles — the little moments that sneak up on you like my cat on a stealth mission. You know, that unexpected ray of sunshine that turns your coffee from “meh” to “heck yes, this is delicious”. The unexpected bloom of a stray flower you never planted. The gentle smile or kindness from a stranger that lifts your heart for just a little moment.
Glimmers are like life’s glitter — sneaky, small, and impossible to ignore once you spot them. They don’t always shout, but they whisper, “Hey, pay attention! There’s magic here.” I chose the word glimmers because that’s what life feels like to me: a collection of tiny, magical moments that flicker softly in the background of our busy lives. They might be easy to miss, but they’re always there — waiting to be noticed, cherished, and celebrated. So this blog – open journal, is my official invitation to slow down, squint a little, and catch those subtle sparks that make ordinary days’ worth writing about.
Because honestly? If life were only about the big moments, we’d all be exhausted or broke from trying to keep up. But glimmers? Those little sparks keep us curious, hopeful, and yes, a bit enchanted — and that’s the kind of magic I’m here for.
